UVa Career Bests: 100 Back (49.08), 200 Back (1:45.49), 100 Fly (49.51)
Talented backstroker with a lot of ability and potential ... had a strong first-year last season and will be counted upon even more this year ... has the ability to be one of the top 100 and 200 backstrokers in the ACC along with a being an NCAA qualifer in both events ... eigth on UVa's all-time top-times list in the 100 back and ninth in the 200 back.
2005-2006- Had three life-time best swims at the ACC Championships ... was fourth in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:46.28, just missing All-ACC honors ... swam a personal-best time of 1:46.05 in the prelims of the 200 back ... swam in the consolation finals of the 100 backstroke at ACCs and placed 10th with a time of 49.08 (the fifth fastest time of the finals session) ... also swam a lifetime best in the 50 free (21.43) at ACCs ... named UVa's men's Rookie of the Year ... competed in the 100 and 200-meter backstroke at the 2006 ConocoPhillips National Championships and was 44th and 51st, respectively.
