UVa Career Bests: 100 Fly (48.07), 200 Back (1:48.80), 200 Fly (1:46.54), 200 I.M. (1:49.89)
One of the most improved swimmers on the team ... scored big points for the team in the 200 back at the ACC meet last year ... had a lifetime best in the 200 I.M. over the summer and will swim more I.M. this season ... will be a key performer this year.
2005-2006- Capped off freshman season with a very good performance in the ACC Championship ... set four personal-bests at ACCs ... was one place shy of earning All-ACC honors in the 200 butterfly with a fourth-place performance ... set a PR in the 200 fly in the prelims in 1:48.80, the second fastest time on the team ... was 14th in the 100 butterfly and set a PR in the prelims (49.37) ... took 15th place in the 200 backstroke at ACCs and again set a PR in the prelims (1:49.56) ... time of 51.61 in a time trial in the 100 backstroke is another personal-best ... competed in the 100 and 200-meter butterfly at the 2006 ConocoPhillips National Championships and was 21st in the 100 fly (55.85) and 22nd in the 200 fly (2:02.85) ... an Olympic trial qualifier in both butterfly races.
