Atlantic Coast Camps, L.L.C.: Atlantic Coast Camps, L.L.C., was founded by University of Virginia Head Baseball Coach Brian O'Connor in 2003. It is our mission to provide the best possible instruction in all phases of the game of baseball. In addition, Atlantic Coast Camps, L.L.C., offers young players with aspirations of playing at the highest level of college baseball opportunities throughout the year to market themselves and showcase their ability.

Atlantic Coast Camps, L.L.C.'s Summer Developmental and Prospect Camps offer a great opportunity to learn the same mental and physical skills taught at the University of Virginia, and will be the backbone of the Cavalier baseball program for years to come. Maximizing your ability as a baseball player begins with learning the proper techniques, and then having a desire to master them through repetition.

Thank you for your interest in Atlantic Coast Camps, L.L.C., and we look forward to seeing you this summer!

Head Coach Brian O'Connor: Camp Director
Brian O'Connor comes to the University of Virginia after spending the past nine years at the University of Notre Dame. While at Notre Dame, O'Connor earned a reputation as one of the country's top recruiters. His 2001 recruiting class was ranked #1 in the nation by Baseball America, and helped him earned assistant coach of the year honors by both Baseball America and the American Baseball Coaches Association. In addition, AFLAC named O'Connor their National Assistant Coach of the Year in 2003, after putting together the country's #6 ranked recruiting class that year.

O'Connor's efforts as a recruiter paid immediate dividends on the field. During his tenure at Notre Dame, the Irish compiled an overall record of 399-160-1, won six conference championships, and made six trips to the NCAA tournament. The last three Notre Dame baseball teams assisted by O'Connor were among the most successful in school history. The 2001 Irish finished with an overall record of 49-13-1, and were ranked #1 in the country at midseason. In 2002, O'Connor's Irish finished 50-18, and advanced all the way to the College World Series. The Irish advanced to the NCAA tournament again in 2003, and finished with an overall record of 45-18.

As pitching coach, five of O'Connor's last six pitching staffs finished the season ranked in the top 18 in ERA. O'Connor has tutored 17 eventual professional baseball pitchers, including 13 Major League draft selections. He has a proven track record of developing pitchers into top-level prospects, including a pair of first round selections - Brad Lidge in 1998 and Aaron Heilman in 2001.

In 1993, O'Connor was drafted in the 29th round of the major league baseball draft by the Philadelphia Phillies.
