AT VIRGINIA: 1999-00—Played in all 31 games and started three . . . started the first three games of the season . . . valuable reserve up front for the Cavaliers . . . scored a career-high 15 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 71-64 loss at Florida State (Feb. 26) . . . was 3-4 from the field, including 1-3 from three-point range, and made all eight of his free throw attempts . . . also had two steals and two blocked shots in 21 minutes in that game . . . scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds in an 86-81 victory over Florida State at University Hall (Jan. 26) . . . was 5-6 from the field in that game, including 1-2 from three-point range, and was 3-4 from the free throw line . . . also had one assist and one steal in a career-high 27 minutes of action . . . had a career-high eight rebounds in an 88-82 victory over North Carolina State at University Hall (Feb. 12) . . .averaged 2.9 rebounds a game for the season, but averaged 4.0 (64) rebounds a game in the last 16 games . . . averaged 15.5 minutes a game and shot 76.7 percent (23-30) from the free throw line in 16 ACC regular-season games . . . made 21 of his last 25 free throw attempts (11 games).
AT COLLIN COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE: 1998-99— Led team to a 22-12 record … scored at a 14.2 points per game clip … led team in rebounding for the second consecutive season, grabbing 8.5 rebounds a game … finished the season as Collin County’s all-time leading rebounder with 550 career rebounds and ranked fifth on Collin County career scoring list with 859 points … earned All-North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference honors for second consecutive season … Collin County Community College’s Two-Year Student-Athlete of the Year Award recipient. 1997-98—Averaged 12.1 points and 8.5 rebounds a game while leading Collin County to 20-11 record … named All-Conference … team Most Valuable Player … three-time conference Player of the Week selection.
