All University of Virginia students interested in attending a men's basketball game must register here for tickets. Please use the links above as references that will help guide you through all of the details pertaining to SHOTS .

1.  Register for your Student Hoops Online Ticketing System (SHOTS) account above.
2.  Request a ticket during the dates listed below and on the Registration Schedule link.
3.  You will be notified by e-mail when your ticket has been processed. Print your ticket, guaranteeing your seat to the game.
4.  Your ticket will include a timed entry group number*. Timed-entry is based on Sabre** points and offers great convenience.
5.  Bring your ticket and student ID to the Student Entrance (entrance facing Emmet Street) at your designated entry time or a later entry time.

** Earn Sabre points by attending men's basketball games and `Hoo Crew Orange Passport events.

*New this season: timed-entry for all students eliminating the need to stand in long lines! All seating is General Admission.

All student tickets are divided into entry groups of equal number. Each student ticket within each entry group will be protected until the next entry group begins to enter the John Paul Jones Arena. The timed-entry system eliminates the need to stand in long lines for long periods of time. Students may enter the John Paul Jones Arena in the assigned entry group or any subsequent entry group.
