2002-2003: Finished 18-19 overall, 6-9 in dual matches with five falls and four major decision victories ... helped guide Virginia to an undefeated ACC regular season at 4-0, marking the first time UVa went undefeated in the conference since 1975 ... placed third at the Virginia Intercollegiate State Wrestling Championship (1/19) and took fifth at the UNC Sharpie Open (11/30) ... went 5-1 and recorded a season-high five consecutive victories in the UNC Sharpie Open ... finished 3-1 at the VISWC ... started the season off with a fall over Slippery Rock's Dustin Plack at the West Virginia Open (11/16) ... two of his five victories in the UNC Open were major decision wins, 12-4 over UNC-Pembroke's Matt Chambers and 10-1 over Cornell's Starkey Desuto.
2001-2002: Finished 9-11 overall, 2-2 in dual match action with three major decision victories and two wins by fall ... won three matches in an event, including his first two of the season, by defeating Wayne Watts (8-3), Rob Truesdale (7-1) and Maryland's Matt Kenny (11-5) at the West Virginia Open (11/10) ... defeated VMI's John Burton (MD, 9-1) and JMU's Aaron Swift (fall @ 2:46) in the VISWC (1/19) ... his pin of Swift was the first collegiate fall of his career ... recorded his first major decision victory of his career after defeating ESU's Chris D'Andrea at the Penn State Open (12/2) ... pinned ODU's Mark Clark @ 1:49 before ending the season with an 8-0 major decision against Bucknell's Hastrum.
2000-2001: Went 0-2 after dropping a 6-4 decision to ESU's Louie Delauro and a 4-3 decision to Pittsburgh's Matt Kaus in the Wilkes Open (12/29).
