2002-2003: Finished the season 17-11 overall, 8-5 in dual matches with two pins, two major decisions and a technical fall ... helped guide Virginia to an undefeated ACC regular season at 4-0, marking the first time UVa went undefeated in the conference since 1975 ... placed first at the Virginia Intercollegiate State Wrestling Championship (1/19) by going undefeated (3-0) in the tournament, including a fall @ 6:24 against Larry France of Apprentice and a major decision (11-3) over James Madison's Steve Kodish ... took second place at the ACC Championships (3/8) and posted a 2-1 record including a technical fall (22-7) over N.C. State's Matt Gulliver ... went 2-1 in the Lone Star Duals (1/4), defeating Nebraska's Kyle Gubbles with a fall @ 4:36 ... placed sixth at Cornell's Body Bar Invitational (11/23) with two wins in the event.

2000-2001: Finished the season 11-16 overall, 2-10 in dual matches ... took first place at the VISWC (1/20) after defeating Longwood's Damion Coy (12-8), George Mason's Clay Frook (5-2) and James Madison's Steve Kodish (13-6) ... won two matches, including his first collegiate bout, and placed third at the Keystone Classic (11/18) after defeating Penn's Nick Thomas (5-4) and Brown's Chris Chaft (7-4) ... won three consecutive matches and placed eighth in the Mat Town Invitational (11/25) including wins over Bucknell's Biran Falciglia (6-5) and Columbia's T.J. Francisco (6-6, OT) ... defeated Maryland's B. Vorhies 5-3 in the ACC Wrestling Championships (3/3).

PREP: Ended his prep career with a record of 106-32 ... recorded 568 takedowns, 35 falls and 30 technical falls at Hoover ... tallied 227 takedowns his junior year and 186 takedowns his senior season ... holds the record for second most takedowns in a single season in Stark County (Ohio) ... four-time sectional, three-time district and two-time state finisher ... two-time team MVP and twice named team captain ... a four time letterwinner ... also played football where he was a three-year starter.
