AT VIRGINIA: 2005-06 - Named All-ACC after finishing as the ACC runner-up at 165 pounds ... finished the season 20-11 overall, 10-5 in duals and 4-1 in ACC duals ... won nine of his first 11 matches, which included four pins ... registered seven pins and three major decisions on the season ... finished third at the Keystone Classic going 4-1 at the tournament ... pinned Gardner-Webb's David Pelsang in first match of the season ... also had pins against Anderson's Forrest Garner, Penn's Colin Hitschler, Boston University's Zachary Johns, Appalachian State's William Houghton and Ohio's Mike Grandominico ... major decisions came against Duke's Aaron Glover, North Dakota's Zach Molitor and NC State's Obie Simpson ... won five of last seven matches.

2003-2004 - Redshirted, but posted a record of 15-6 overall with one major decision and a team-high five technical falls while wrestling open tournaments ... placed fourth at the UNC-Pembroke Classic, defeating six opponents (11/14) ... at the UNCP Classic, recorded technical falls against The Citadel's David Whipperman 18-1, UCF's Jason Patino 18-2, and Davidson's Marcus Boyd 16-0, and regular victories over George Washington's Brendon Couture 4-2, CC's Todd Allen 12-9, and Davidson's Mark O'Hair 6-2 ... posted three consecutive victories at the Cleveland State Open, winning a 13-4 major decision against Clarion's Jamie Durkin and decisions against MS's Grag Giodosik 8-2 and Kansas State's Kurt Gross 12-6 (1/24) ... finished the season with fourth place and six victories at the Edinboro Open (2/21) ... tallied technical falls against Navy's J.T. Pruitt and Central Michigan's Brad Anderson, and won regular decisions against Buffalo's Mike Ragusa 5-0, CMU's Nate Edwards 4-2, Ohio State's Zach Craiglow 3-0, and UTT's Paul Hammond at the Edinboro Open (2/21).
