Steve Pritzker is in the midst of his fourth season as an assistant coach at UVa.
After volunteering with the women's rowing team during the 2004 season while a fulltime student at UVa's business school, Pritzker assumed full time coaching responsibilities in the spring of 2005. He has been the director of recruiting since 2005. Pritzker coached the varsity four crew that was undefeated and won the 2005 NCAA Championship in that event. He also worked with the NCAA Champion varsity four crew in 2004. The varsity four has won the South/Central Regional Championship in each of his three years.
Pritzker received a diploma from UVa's Darden Graduate School of Business Administration in May 2005. He earned his bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1999.
Pritzker rowed competitively as an undergraduate, earning four varsity letters as a coxswain at Yale. He won gold and silver at the Eastern Sprints and the Temple Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta.
