At Virginia: Member of the varsity 8+ crew that finished first and was named Crew of the Year at the 2004 ACC Championships ... also a member of the first varsity 8+ boat that finished second at the 2004 Central/South Region Sprints ... member of the first varsity 8+ boat that finished ninth at the 2004 NCAA Championships.

Previous College Experience: Graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in May of 2003 with a B.A. in political science...earned three varsity letters rowing for Cal Berkeley (2000-2002)...in 2000, as a freshman, rowed four seat for the first varsity 8+ that finished fourth at the NCAA Championships and second at PAC-10s...summer of 2000, attended the National Team Pre-Elite Camp at the ARCO Olympic Training Center in San Diego...in 2001, received the team's Most Improved Rower award after rowing five seat for the first varsity 8+ that finished eighth at the NCAA Championships and third at PAC-10s...in 2002 rowed five seat for the Cal second varsity 8+ and received a third place team trophy at the NCAA Championships...received the PAC 10 All-Academic Award (2000), and the PAC 10 All-Academic Honorable Mention Award (2001, 2002).

High School: Stroked the St. Ignatius varsity eight to a state championship and a bronze medal at the USRowing Junior Nationals (1999).

Personal: Born April 5, 1981 in San Francisco, Calif. ... daughter of Richard and Pansy Waller ... has a younger brother, John ... will receive a Masters of Education in Social Studies from Virginia's Curry School of Education in May 2004...enjoys photography, oil painting, and travel.
