9/3/07 Lindsay Shoop Wins Gold In The Eight At The 2007 World Rowing Championships
	Lindsay Shoop, a Charlottesville native and former Virginia All-America rower, won a gold medal in the eight on Sunday (Sept. 2) while rowing for the United States' team at the World Rowing Championships in Munich, Germany. The victory qualified the United States' in that event for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.
