Kelly Worden, who completed her Cavalier career last season, returns as an undergraduate assistant in 2003.
Last season, Worden completed a standout career as a defender for the Cavaliers. In 2002, Worden was named first team All-ACC, first team NSCAA All-Mid Atlantic Region, and first team VaSID All-State. During last season, Worden scored a career-high three goals and played in a school record 2,040 minutes. This past spring, Worden was selected in the third round of the WUSA draft by the Boston Breakers.
For her career, Worden was named All-ACC in three of her four seasons, started 82 of her 86 career games, while tallying seven goals and seven assists.
